Two simple, archaic shapes. Square and stripes form a generous check pattern. The right angle is cleverly interrupted by the irregularity of the design and the slightly offset arrangement of the surfaces, lending the striking design a rhythmic playfulness. The elaborate combination of jacquard patterning and embroidery also creates an expressive relief effect.
